The team from Pinfolds Mechanical work across the UK on a wide variety of air handling projects. This can range from retail premises, office and work locations through to major infrastructure support services and public service buildings.
Effingham Junction Train Care Depot – installation of Nederman fume extract rail system and tempered fresh air make up as part of a £4 million M&E and roof upgrade project working closely with main contractor Osborne.
Major UK Airport – Air Handling Unit (AHU) plug fan upgrades across the terminal building as part of their energy saving works. 1st year completed of a multi year upgrade project across this world renowned airport based just outside London. Pinfolds are also undertaking refurbishment work of older units to bring them up to standard including coil upgrades and structural repairs. All works completed in line with airport security and project guidelines.
Butler and Hops Pub, Poole – Retro-fit of an intelligas unit and the associated solenoid valve plus installation of a new supply fan and controls to ensure the pub conformed to building, air handing and gas safety regulations.
Bedford Borough Council Offices – removal of existing scroll fan and motor before replacement with a pressurised plenum within the brick built AHU, to enable the installation of high energy efficient plug fans.
Santander Building Society, Market Harborough – full heat recovery and duct work system installation. As with all retail installs, this project had the added challenges of an incredibly tight timescale and working as part of a major branch refit. Much of this project was undertaken as design and build (D&B) by the Pinfolds team.
